About Us
Mimis Cake Decorating School combines both in-person and online classes to help & encourage our students to achieve their goals. You learn from the comfort of your kitchen, Or join us for a group class at a local cake supply or craft store. Our classes are for all ages & skill levels.
Like most bakers, we started at the school of 'gramma & mom's kitchen', standing on a step stool. In awe of the smells & taste. Where most recipes were not written down, just made from memory. Over the years baking & decorating has always been intertwined in our lives. Teaching came naturally & surprisingly.
Now we want to share our 25+ years of experience in baking & decorating with you. Together, with your personal instructor you can achieve your goals. ~Jen
Classes
Private In-home Classes
Our private classes are customized to achieve YOUR goals. You choose what you want to learn. From baking, to making icing. - Cakes, cookies, cake pops, cupcakes. Fondant to royal icing- any design you desire. This is Your class - and we want you to succeed! Your personal instructor arrives with all supplies needed for your class. The both of you will work together from the comfort of your kitchen.
4 hour class. $425.00 1 student. $100.00 each additional student. $50.00 each additional hour.
Class includes: Customized class, certificate of completion, light refreshments & class supplies *travel fee may apply. You also receive admission into our online classes held in closed facebook group, yours to keep forever.*Chocolate *cake pops*icings*fillings A $275.00 value!
Group Classes
Look for us at your local cake supply or craft stores. As well as parks & recreation, and adult education programs.These classes have a pre-determined theme, and are a great TRY ME! Class. Prices & Classes vary with location & themes. Find our current schedule on Google & our social media sites. Or feel free to contact us directly for upcoming group classes.
Cookie Decorating Class
In home class. Decorate cookies with Royal Icing. Learn the basics of flooding, wet on wet and over piping techniques. This class is great for those beginning their cookie decorating journey OR, those who want to learn more decorating techniques. Class can be matched to any theme. Class includes: 3 hour class. 1 dozen cookies per student. $525.00 up to 8 students. $55.00 each additional student. Free gift for each student. *travel fee may apply.
Doll Cake Class
In home class. Fun for you and a friend! Create your favorite princess, bride or fashionesta out of cake. Class includes cakes, doll. Free gift for each student 2.5hour class. 2 ~ students $425.00. $100.00 each additional student **travel may apply.
Private Live On-line Class
4 hour customized class. Designed to help you achieve your goals. Online classes allows us to teach our students anywhere, anytime!Includes:

Cupcake Decorating Class
In-home Class. Fun for all ages. Perfect for birthday parties, ladies night ~ family fun night. Cupcakes can be matched to any theme. Class includes: 2.5 hour class. 1 dozen cupcakes per student. Free Gift for each student. Cost: $525.00 (up to 8 students) $55.00 each additional student. **travel fee may apply. ***for our younger students ~ 1.5hr class includes 6 cupcakes and can be themed to match party. Free gift for each student. Cost $375.00 up to 8 students. $35.00 each additional student.

Business Classes
Not sure how to price your products? Questioning yourself~ are you over charging or worse, under pricing your work. Tired of the family & friends discounts? Don't have a contract? Need a business plan? We offer business classes that will help you get started or take your business to the next level. You do not need to be licensed to take our business class. Note: there is homework for you prior to the class. Lesson book will be emailed to you. Inperson: 4 hour class ~ $ 325.00 1 student$75.00 each additional student. Free Gift. *travel fee may apply. **Private live online: 4 hour class - $275.00 1 student. Both classes includes certificate and Choice of one of our online group classes ($55.00 value)
Cake Pop Class
In this class learn how to melt chocolate, roll cake pops, dip & drizzle. Plus a variety of popular cake pop designs. Class can be matched to a party, season or holidays.
2.5hour class. $525.00 up to 8 students. $55.00 each additional student. 1 dozen (plus +) Cake Pops per student. Includes admission into private cake pop class ($55.00) value. Free gift for each student *travel fee may apply.

Mimis Cake Decorating School was created in honor of my mom. Known as 'mimi' to those who loved her. My mom passed away in 2015 after a brief and fierce battle with cancer. We miss her every day. She always instilled in us to give back. And through the school her legacy continues. Hope you're proud mom. ❤
