About Us
Mimis Cake Decorating School combines both in-person and online classes to help & encourage our students to achieve their goals. You learn from the comfort of your kitchen, Or join us for a group class at a local cake supply or craft store. Our classes are for all ages & skill levels.
Like most bakers, we started at the school of 'gramma & mom's kitchen', standing on a step stool. In awe of the smells & taste. Where most recipes were not written down, just made from memory. Over the years baking & decorating has always been intertwined in our lives. Teaching came naturally & surprisingly.
Now we want to share our 25+ years of experience in baking & decorating with you. Together, with your personal instructor you can achieve your goals. ~Jen

Our private classes are customized to achieve YOUR goals. You choose what you want to learn. From baking, to making icing. - Cakes, cookies, cake pops, cupcakes. Fondant to royal icing- any design you desire. This is Your class - and we want you to succeed! Your personal instructor arrives with all supplies needed for your class. The both of you will work together from the comfort of your kitchen.

Cookie Decorating Group Class
Cookie Fun!
In home class. Decorate cookies with Royal Icing. Learn the basics of flooding and wet on wet techniques. This class is great 'try me!' Class for anyone interested cookie decorating. Class can be matched to any theme. Once theme is decided, icing will arrive colored & in piping bags ready to decorate. Class includes: 2.5 hour class, eight (8) cookies per student, two each of four designs. $535.00 up to 8 students. $55.00 each additional student. Free gift for each student. *travel fee may apply.
Private Live On-line Class
We can teach anyone, anywhere!
4 hour customized decorating class. Designed to help you achieve your goals. Online classes allows us to teach our students anywhere, anytime! Classes are held in private facebook group. Includes:
4 hour class (starting at) $395.00 ($50.00 each additional hour) for 1 student, lesson book & Certificate of Completion will be emailed to student. Online class come with student decorating kit-shipped free, continental USA only. your online class also comes with access to our online group classes (held in closed facebook group): *Chocolate. *cakepops. *icings. *fillings. Cupcake Decorating Class

In-home Class. Fun for all ages. Perfect for birthday parties, ladies night ~ family fun night. Cupcakes can be matched to any theme. Class includes: 2.5 hour class. 1 dozen cupcakes per student. Free Gift for each student. Cost: $535.00 (up to 8 students) $55.00 each additional student. **travel fee may apply. ***for our younger students ~ 1.5hr class includes 6 cupcakes and can be themed to match party. Business Classes
Mind your Business
Not sure how to price your products? Questioning yourself~ are you over charging or worse, under pricing your work. Tired of the family & friends discounts? Don't have a contract? Need a business plan? We offer business classes that will help you get started or take your business to the next level. You do not need to be licensed to take our business class. Note: there is homework for you prior to the class. Lesson book will be emailed to you. Inperson: *4 hour class ~ $ 435.00 1 student $100.00 each additional student. $50.00 each additional hour. Free Gift. **travel fee may apply. ***Private live online: 4 hour class - $335.00 1 student. $50.00 each additional hour. Both classes includes certificate of completion. And admission into our 4 online group classes- icing, cake pops, Fillings & chocolate.
Added bonus: 2 hour follow up video chat with instructor. This isn't a class, rather it's a check in to see how things are going and chat!
Cake Pop Class
Cake Pop Fun!
In this class learn how to melt chocolate, roll cake pops, dip & drizzle. Plus a variety of popular cake pop designs. Class can be matched to a party, season or holidays.
2.5hour class. $535.00 up to 8 students. $55.00 each additional student. 1 dozen Cake Pops per student. Free gift for each student *travel fee may apply.
Gingerbread House Private Group Class
A great way to get into the holiday season. Perfect for families, ladies night, kids party, bar/restaurants & corporate events (team building)
**the time to book your class is now. These are our most popular classes, and we fill up quickly. We take bookings until October 1st. After that date, bookings are available based on our availability** Host a private gingerbread house decorating class. Each person receives 1 (one) gingerbread house to assemble. Then decorate with royal icing (colors- red, green & white) and edible candy decorations. Create a winter wonderland out of gingerbread. Twinkle lights will complete your creation. In addition- each person gets 4 gingerbread cookies to decorate & enjoy! Once you complete your gingerbread house you will transport home in a protective box for safe travels. Free gift for each student! Class: 2.5 hours. Up to 8 students. Cost: $535.00. $55.00 each additional student. *style of house may vary from photo **travel fee may apply

Mimis Cake Decorating School was created in honor of my mom. Known as 'mimi' to those who loved her. My mom passed away in 2015 after a brief and fierce battle with cancer. We miss her every day. She always instilled in us to give back. And through the school her legacy continues. Hope you're proud mom. ❤
