Mimis Cake Decorating School, is the school that comes to you! We offer both in-person and online classes to help & encourage our students to achieve their goals. You learn from the comfort of
your kitchen. Our classes are for all ages & skill levels.
Like most bakers, we started at the school of 'gramma & mom's kitchen', standing on a step stool. In awe of the smells & taste. Where most recipes weren't written down, just made from memory & love. Over the years baking & decorating has always been intertwined in our lives. Teaching came naturally & surprisingly.
Now we want to share our 25+ years of experience in baking & decorating with you. Together, with your personal instructor you can achieve your goals.

Private In-home Classes

Our private classes are customized to achieve YOUR goals. You choose what you want to learn. From baking, to making icing. - Cakes, *cookies, cake pops, cupcakes. Fondant to royal icing- any design you desire. This is Your class - and we want you to succeed! Your personal instructor arrives with all supplies needed for your class. The both of you will work together from the comfort of your kitchen.
5- hour class. (Starting at) $475.00 for 1 student. $175.00 additional student. (Two or more students- choose same class. Example: choose cake decorating or cookie decorating etc) $75.00 each additional hour.
Class includes: Customized class, cakes OR cookies, icing, lesson book and student decorating kit.
Cake Class: choose 2 -8-inch cakes in round, square or

*Cookie Class: (starting at) $550.00 5-hour class. Includes 2 dozen cookies, Iced and Uniced. Baking & Decorating 6.5 hour cookie

Group Classes
Host a group decorating class
We offer group decorating classes at a variety of venues. Group classes are a great TRY ME! class. The classes are designed for anyone at any skill level to participate in. Classes can be themed to match Holidays or Special Events. Our group classes are perfect for: private businesses (awesome experience for team building), wineries, breweries, cake shops & bakeries, craft stores and more! As the host you will custom design your group class with the instructor. Pricing and class design will vary based on host and what type of class. We supply everything needed for your class as well as set up & clean up. Once booked, you can enjoy the experience too!

Cookie Decorating Group Class
Cookie Decorating for all skill levels!
In home class. Decorate cookies with Royal Icing. Learn the basics of flooding, wet on wet and stenciling techniques. This class is great 'try me!' Class for anyone interested cookie decorating. Class can be matched to any theme. Class includes: 2.5 - hour class, 1 dozen cookies per student, two each of 6 designs. Each Student receives a decorating kit: piping bags, stencil holder, 4 holiday stencils, non-slip cookie mat, scribe tool, icing stencil smoother and a box to take cookies home. $875.00 for 6 students. $125.00 each additional student.

***Some designs may require extra class time. When we receive your inspiration photos we will determine if extra class time is needed.
Extra class time cost $50.00/ for each additional half hour. This is for the extra class time, not priced per student. You have the option to change your inspiration design to stay with-in the original 2.5 hour class time.
Private Live On-line Class
We can teach anyone, anywhere!
Our customized decorating class, designed to help you achieve your goals. Online classes allows us to teach our students anywhere, anytime! Classes are held in private facebook group. Includes:
5- hour class (starting at) $425.00 ($75.00 each additional hour) for 1 student, lesson book & Certificate of Completion will be emailed to student. Online class comes with student decorating kit-shipped free, continental USA only. **baking and decorating class: 6.5-hour class. Cost: $525.00.
***students not in continental USA- includes everything mentioned above without student decorating kit. Cost: $375.00.

Cupcake Decorating Class
let's have fun decorating cupcakes!
In-home Class. Fun for all ages. Perfect for birthday parties, ladies night ~ family fun night. Cupcakes can be matched to any theme. Class includes: 2.5 hour class. 1 dozen cupcakes per student. 6 vanilla & 6 chocolate. Vanilla buttercream icing, edible decorations. Cost: $775.00 ( 6 students) $75.00 each additional student.
Free gift for each student.
*add working with fondant -or- modeling chocolate to your class for an additional $100.00 per class not per student.

We offer private decorating classes, for Bakery & Grocery Stores. Classes can be done individually or as a group. We work together to help you bring out your unique style of decorating to your business. Can be purchased as a series of classes. Contact us directly for pricing. *travel fee may apply.
Business Classes
Mind your Business
Not sure how to price your products? Questioning yourself~ are you over charging or worse, under pricing your work. Tired of the family & friends discounts? Don't have a contract? Need a business plan? We offer business classes that will help you get started or take your business to the next level. You do not need to be licensed to take our business class. Note: there is homework for you prior to the class. Inperson: *4 hour class ~ $475.00 for 1 student $125.00 additional student. $75.00 each additional hour. **travel fee may apply. ***Private live online: 4 hour class - $400.00 1 student. $75.00 each additional hour. Both classes includes certificate of completion.
Cake Pop Class
Cake Pops for everyone!
In this class learn how to melt chocolate, roll cake pops, dip & drizzle. Class can be matched to a party, season or holidays.
2.5 hour class. $675.00 for 6 students. $75.00 each additional student. 1 dozen Cake Pops per student and box to transport cake pops.
*add fondant or modeling chocolate to class- $100.00 per class not per student

Gingerbread House Private Group Class
A great way to get into the holiday season. Perfect for families, ladies night, kids party, bar/restaurants & corporate events (team building)
Our most popular class!
Host a private gingerbread house decorating class. Each person receives 1 (one) gingerbread house to assemble. Then decorate with royal icing (colors- red, green & white) and edible candy decorations. Create a winter wonderland out of gingerbread. Twinkle lights will complete your creation. In addition- each person gets 2 gingerbread cookies to decorate & enjoy! Once you complete your gingerbread house you will transport home in a protective box for safe travels.

Mimis Cake Decorating School was created in honor of my mom. Known as 'mimi' to those who loved her. My mom passed away in 2015 after a brief and fierce battle with cancer. We miss her every day. She always instilled in us to give back. And through the school her legacy continues. Hope you're proud mom. ❤
